The Library of Time Book 1: Annie, Sam, and the Woman from the 1800s

In The Library of Time Book 1, Annie thinks she has a normal job—until she discovers the library is actually a time machine, bigger on the inside like the TARDIS. When a woman arrives from the 1800s who looks exactly like Annie, everything Annie knows about her life (and her heart) starts to unravel.

A workplace romance with dangerous timing

Annie and her boss, Sam, begin an unexpected love affair—complicated by the fact that he’s her boss and by the secrets hidden in the stacks. The closer they get, the higher the risk: to Annie’s job, her reputation, and the fragile stability of the Library itself.

The 1800s double—and the ex who shouldn’t be there

The look-alike from the 1800s doesn’t just raise questions—she triggers major problems. Annie’s former boyfriend (an antagonist) woos the woman, and the two of them flee back in time together. That’s terrifying for one reason: changing history has consequences, and Annie may be the one who pays for it.

What to expect in The Library of Time Book 1

  • A time-travel library that behaves like a living machine

  • A workplace romance between Annie and her boss, Sam

  • A look-alike from the 1800s—and a dangerous ex who follows the wrong person

  • High stakes: history can change, and the timeline may not forgive it

Next up, I’ll publish companion posts for Book 2 and Book 3 in the series, each targeting its exact title and hook.
